principles

I believe that design works best when it's approached like a science – with design thinking as our version of the scientific method. It helps bring structure, clarity, and a spark of creativity to everything we do. I’m at my happiest when working through tough design challenges within a team that's just as passionate.

We live in a fascinating time, amongst new emergent technologies which will change society in ways we haven’t even begun to consider. It’s exciting, and a little scary. Nevertheless I maintain a sense of optimism about where we will end up.

Chatbot UI is terrible:

How might we as designers evolve the current chatbot UI to offer more nuanced controls so that users get better outputs when using generative AI tools?
